Got it at a show on Sunday. It was not on my bingo card that day. Dealer had this one and an earlier example that was 5/5s on strike and surface. Only two ancients he had. He didn't know anything about them and just wanted to get rid of them! Said he had them for a long time and couldn't sell them. I asked if he was crazy. Most people at the show wouldn't have given them a second glance or known how good these were. I almost bought both but got a few other things. This one was my favorite of the two. I told him he should have listed them on ebay. "Wasn't interested in dealing with it!" "Well, ok!" You twisted my arm. I'll pay 50% of what it's worth. lol It's in my album next to his brother's denarius now. When I was looking at the two, a guy stopped and showed me his pocket piece. A huge Alexander the Great Tetradrachm he cracked out of a slab. He handed it to me to check out. I'm like wth?! lol
