So today I was cleaning the basement when i came about a bag of coins. Mostly canadian with some U.S coins. I found some interesting ones. But since ive been a coin collector for about a year. Im not all that pro. So im just gonna post the interesting photos here. I know nothing on Canadian coins! And anyone who knows anything about any of the coins please share :) one big U.S coin ive never seen in a protective case, 2 Sacagaweas 2000 P, some sort of token, 2 of them, The rest are canadian, with one 1945. :) alright i hope someone responds.

Canadian coins are made with real metal. Our coinage are alloys. Can not tell you what the big one you have is without it being described. Better yet, a picture shown.

Statue of liberty on the front with 13 stars surrounding it. On the back we have Copper .999 Fine written on the top, One AVDP Ounce on the bottom. 3 stars on each side of the coin on the back. 2012, surrounded by the american flag and and eagle wings.

So you have a copper bullion piece, 2 Sacagawea Dollars, a canadian cent, and a canadian dollar. If you want, you can make a canadian coinage folder for your canadian coins. Just buy the folders for the dates.

I'd be happy to see what you found.

With the Sacagewea dollars, you'll want to look for the one with the 1999 Reverse that were given out in boxes of Cheerios cereal in a promotion by the US Mint. More about them can be found here: http://www.smalldollars.com/dollar/page20c.html

I don't know a lot about Canadian die varieties, but you should look for the 1962 Harp or Guitar penny.

These two varieties are believed to be the result of die polishing. My coworkers at the store I work at save foreign coins they find for me, which is how I ended up finding the 1962 Harp penny. It's a neat die variety that is worth a few dollars.

Sacagawea Dollars depend on details mostly, if not then its just face value

I have an full unopened roll of Sacagawea Dollars 2000 P and they are not really worth over the 25$ they are worth, maybe 38ish. Sacagawea Dollars are really common I have seen lately, a lot of them have been popping up.
