1861-O Seated Liberty Half Dollar

    What are your thoughts on this Half Dollar ladies and gentlemen? Grade? Genuine?

    Yes. Blurry. I put it in the F-15/VF-20 grade range. You get a strong enough Liberty on shield.
    There is a noticable scratch acroos the Eagles throat/neck.
    That rather splotchy dark toning is usually a good indicator that the coin has been harshly cleaned.
    Iwouldn't even try to look into variety matching with this level of photo. James
