The worst Condition Wheat Penny in my Collection

    Its been awhile so I figure I would post the worst conditioned Wheat Penny That I own and if anyone is wondering how I got it its simple I found it in a sink drain.

    It sure is, but it could be a 1969-S DDO

    That would be funny but its a wheaty and though it doesn't show up in the scans under close light you can vaguely see the right wheat stock

    So it must be a 1955 DDO

    If you look real close and stare at it for some time, you can see it's a 1909-S VDB. :)

    Ohh you guys crack me up but perhaps its a 1959 Wheat penny lol

    You could soak it in some CLR, I don't think it would make it worse.

    That's a 1943 steel/tin penny with that corrosion.

    No, it is obviously a 1943 Wheat Penny.

    I kept it just for the sake of keeping it plus it does hold my personal record of worst coin in my collection lol. And to verify it is not a 43 steel its a copper cent

    No people, this is obviously a matte proof. A 1909 VDB matte proof.

    Send that coin to PCGS and see what they think of it.
