Alright People, let's get fired up for the weekend. I will do four boxes of halves tonight. Good luck to all of you! And for the halves searchers get those stacks growing!

Thanks! I almost brushed it right aside as it looked like a new shield one. One of my favorite finds so far.

This reminds me. I had 150 Ikes, and i was finally able to sell them for 160, i was asking i think 167.5 for them. Didn't mind though. This guy drove an hour just to get to me and he was really friendly. So point is ikes are sellable!

Are customer wrapped rolls only in certain regions of the country or can they be found in any city, just depends on the bank?

They can be found in any city. Most banks will have them, but they may not have them at any certain point in time.

Ran into a vending machine guy bringing in about 8000 quarters into Wells Fargo yesterday and he told me he had amassed quite a collection over years but it had slowed down for silver a lot. Exchanged numbers as he said he would gladly sell me as many bags as I wanted on his next run. Good to know for the quarter hunt!

Aw thanks. Reason I ask is the bank(CU) I go to does not allow you to bring in CWR, you need to put all coins through their counting machine and then take your receipt to the teller to get your money. But my sister's bank in Nashville does do CWR so I was planning on getting a whole bunch from her bank when I went to visit her.

Knowing this, I will definitely go visit some other banks in town.

Ah, yeah. If they have a coin counter, they'll usually make you use it.

At first yes, When I first started years ago the banks were happy to give me all the halves they had cause they could not send them back. Thousands and thousands ,Now it seems everybody is a searcher and you ask the banks and they say no or they have $3.00 of clad in there tray. I wait till Dunkin Coffee is on sale local and buy a bag and take it to the bank or one for each teller ya $6.00 a bag but they tend to help you instead of the other guy.
Oh and yes the same here CU is dump bank and counting machine but I have a ck and sav open at a other local bank also. just for that purpose.

    Box of BWR Cents (Loomis).

Tough box. Ended up ith 13 wheatbacks, but 3 came in the last roll and 2 in the 2nd to last roll. Only found 3 in the first 2/3s of a box.

    26 Canadians, a 1953 and a 1956 were keepers.

    1 Bermuda Cent.

Of the US keeper Cents, none were worthy of a photo and none were particularly old.

    1939, 1941, 1942, 1944, 1945, 1948, 1951-D, 1953, 1953-D, (2) 1956, (2) 1957-D (one had just a hint of mint luster), 1969-S, 1971-S, 1972-S, 1973-S, 1974-S. Plus a couple of 2009s.

There was a 1982-D large date that may upgrade my 'B' book, if it's zinc. I haven't weighed it yet.

Like I said, a lackluster box.
