Allow me to show the one I call a honker! :D It's not that big but I like it, I'll post the specs below. I actually own more than one but I only wear one at a time of course, bought it off the bay, sellers pics. I wouldn't want to look ostentatious and I don't wear it every day, just like coin club night or a coin show or shopping and that's about it. Feel free to post a pic of yours! thumbsup.gif

Mine is a 1989 AGE in 14k gold
    total weight is 11.9 grams

I have sort of a weird question as I often do.
Doesn't the coin become damaged when it's set like this? Don't get me wrong, I do like it but would put in another coin besides this one. ;)

That's sexy. I would wear that if I had it.

I used to own one almost exactly like that, but the ring part wasn't as fancy as yours. I stopped wearing it because it was soft and I got my ring finger pinched when the ring flattened on me twice when lifting heavy stuff and getting my finger pinned. Eventually, the ring broke (separated) in two. I never got it fixed. I kept it on my dresser though for years. It went missing, and I suspect it was one of my "outlaws'.:muted:

No not at all as the coin is recessed into the ring mount, so it's pretty well protected. Here's another one I got off the bay, it's a full gold sovereign in 9k but I don't wear it as much as I wear the 1989 ring, as I like the 89 better! :D Lovin' the POG at $4178!

Very pretty rings. I look at wearing jewelry like something foreign has attached itself to me. I have never ever even worn a wedding ring in 45 years. my response is get it off! get it off!
My wife on the other hand is proud of the moniker "old crow". She loves all things shiny and i will never show her any of these things. James

All I have are a couple tie clips with replica coins. Lame.

I had a cool one with a 1/10th oz AGE and sold it years ago for double what I paid. Always regretted selling it so I bought a better one (below) right before gold skyrocketed.
Fits like a glove but don't wear it much for safety reasons. 1912 $2.5. TGW is 0.32 oz. I think its supposed to be a variation of the gold nugget style/look. Haven't seen one like it. Melt value will soon pass what I gave for it.

Super nice Indian Head, my closest LCS owner has one, they were a bit too pricey for me especially on the bay! :( This is the last ring I bought on the bay but it's on white gold 14k, most people don't like white gold and I admit I prefer yellow gold but I have others and I'll be okay, besides there's a dollar gold coin in it! lol.gif
