This repousse coin looks wrong - is it a casting?

Was browsing eBay looking at repousse coins, and this one just looks wrong. It looks like a casting to me. So many holes...

Anyone who is an expert in these, can you lend your expertise?

It doesn't look like it is cast to me. As a matter of fact, it doesn't look like anything at all!

However, upon further review, it may be the transparent coin effect

something is off on it

 

I would say cast due to the porosity holes on the front left side and the file marks on the back. But I am no Expert, just saying what I see.

 

The inconsistent edges are a giveaway that this is a poorly cast fake.
