Hello everyone, Yesterday I did an almost 7-hour dirt fishing trip at Brooklyn's Prospect Park. I hit the place hard searching for silver but wasn't able to find any until the last moment. That's the way it goes sometimes It is a 1934 Silver Washington - My original plan was to meet up around 7am to go to Hunter Island which is located in the Bronx with a good detecting buddy of mine. He was sad that I couldn't make it, but he agreed that our family especially our parents come first! When I woke up at 5am my mom wasn't feeling well so I had to let him know that I couldn't meet up with him because I had to make sure my mom would feel better before I went out anywhere He's a great friend who goes by the name Dogstar Blazer aka The Mole Here is a picture from my Instagram page - His trip was amazing, and these were his 8 silver finds! (Yes, I am envious ) These are the rest of my finds - SBA $1.00 7 Wheat Cents with Silver Quarter Silver and Steel (Which I actually think is a copper ring that was plated) Everything (No nickels) I notice that when I find a lot of quarters many times, I get 2 Bicentennial's
Silver quarters are $9.05 melt, silver dimes $3.62. Nice haul, once again…good payoff for 7 hours. Hope your Mom is feeling better…Spark
A nice trip for the time spent. I bet you wish you could have made it with your friend. Hope your mother is feeling better. My prayers go with her.
