    IMG_0297.jpeg IMG_0296.jpeg I know they’re holed & harshly cleaned.
Given to a YN. Gotta teach them young

It doesn't look like the "hole" has been used yet for anything, such as a string or chain or bow.

Big enough so he won’t swallow them, not too valuable to play with

The pointed 7 variety carries a bit more premium than the blunt 7 for the 1947 $1, but in that rough condition with the hole it probably doesn't matter that much. Something about both these coins seems off though - the surface texture, how pristine the holes are, the letters and denticles on the 1947, etc. Might be worth weighing (1947 should be 23.33g) and whether it rings like silver (I don't recommend this except for such a beat up coin). It would suck to start out a YN with a couple Chinese fakes...

Garage sale doesn't instill confidence for me.

Next time have him buy the coins. He'll get a better deal. People are suckers for cute kids. ;)

That's a good price for both of them. The Junk dollar in particular is silly expensive today. Even holed, I think it's worth way more than 20 dollars.
