I love finding Laminations

Ok, well the first one still needs a better evaluation. Sometimes it looks like glue, it's not though.

This one is peeling pretty heavy at the jaw line.

For some reason, I kind of like the 1971S better. The jaw reconstructive surgery went okay.

 

So what is it? Struck thru a possible fragment?
Or is it a weakness in the planchet?

 

Close up would be helpful, maybe. I'm wondering if it's something else. ??
