    To me, the last digit of the date is a different font and the denticles don't seem right, as many are faded out, I guess to show wear. There's lots of entries if you google 1798 US dollar for just about the cost of shipping or less.

    Clearly a fake to me. Lots of things wrong with it if you compare with at a real one. Craigslist is even more risky than ebay.
