Hello again! Just picked this little fellow up today for upgrading the 3cs slot in my 7070. I'm about 99% sure it's been cleaned, but that's ok for now. It shows much more details than my current slot holder and has some nice clash marks, too. I'll update this post with some pics from my scope once I get around to it but for now, here it is! 20251001_155912.jpg 20251001_155934.jpg

Compared to most three cent coins, yours is a beauty, congrats.

I really am stoked to have this one, and it didn't break the bank either. I think it was only around $120, if I'm remembering correctly

Well? Are you remembering correctly? I see a $112 - maybe a $120 coin. Nice pickup. Do you know what is going on with the line going around the star?

That's a clash mark from the reverse design, and also the reverse is showing clash marks from the obverse. And now that I'm looking at my scope pics more (finally) I'm seeing other marks that don't make much sense. I wonder if there's a strike-through on this in addition to the clash. Maybe something got stuck in the dies before they clashed? I'll update with photos in a few minutes.

Updated with pics. The areas I'm seeing that don't make sense for a clash are the obverse center design (whatever that is called) and the big triangular shape towards the right point of the star, and the reverse between first and second of the Roman numerals. This doesn't appear to have circulated very much, so the typical wear doesn't seem to be very fitting. Maybe a very small detached lamination on the reverse? I'd have to pull it from my 7070 to take a much closer look, but I'm thoroughly confused at this point.
