LordM Giveaway #130 (pick your prize) Contest status: OPEN Drawing: pending; on or after 1 November 2025 Winner: pending Shipping status: pending Winner's receipt: pending Hello, everyone, and welcome to the latest giveaway. This will be another one of my "pick your prize" contests, so you can hopefully win something you'll like. To enter: 1. Go view my giveaway goodies list. 2. Post an entry here, stating which prize you would prefer. 3. State why you chose what you did. NOTE: That last bit is important. To qualify, you have to not only pick a prize, but also say WHY you picked it. Just a few words will do. However, if you are entering on someone else's behalf, you are not required to pick a prize or say why. Your designated proxy will get to pick their choice later, if your entry wins for them. Your prize choice need not be final. I do periodically add new prizes to the Giveaway Gallery, so if you win the drawing, you'll be given a chance to change your mind at the end, if you see a new prize you like more. I just enjoy reading everyone's initial selections up front, since it gives me an idea of what folks like. Click the pic below to go to the prize list. The drawing will be done via random number generator sometime on or after the date mentioned at the top of this post. The timing will depend on my schedule. You may consider the contest open for entries until such time as I have posted the final result of the drawing. Totally free: the contest is free of charge, open to everyone, with free worldwide shipping. The only further requirement is that if you win... Please post a receipt in this thread after you get the prize, so we'll know you got it (that helps me keep track). Good luck! Numismatic regards, ~Robertson ("Rob") Shinnick ("LordM") ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ LordM Giveaway archive This contest is brought to you by Lucy, who just turned six.
You will notice the giveaway goodies are now listed in a CoinTalk thread instead of the gallery on CollecOnline, which sadly shut down after a bankruptcy. I will miss that site. Now you have to scroll down to view all the goodies. I'm confident you can figure it out.
Ready for the next round - still would love that 1853 copper Braided Hair large cent as it would be my first large cent and I would use it to be the cornerstone of a 7070 album. Appreciate the generosity your eminence!
Count me in for the I'm entering for the pair of silver dollars (1921-S Morgan type and 1935 Peace type). I have a small stack of encapsulated Morgan's sitting on my desk i just love to look at when I'm relaxing, especially my latest buy. Won't be long until I'm back into buying nothing but coins again xD Appreciate your generosity @lordmarcovan !
I’m in LordM my bud! Canada: 2016 silver 5-dollars of Elizabeth II, Cougar bullion coin Canada designs are pretty cool, as they salute the CFL Hamilton Tiger Cats!
Lucy has a great eye for picking interesting stuff. While there are a few items I would gladly add to my collection I still prefer to make Russ' (@masterswimmer) grandson my proxy.
Thank you once again, you lordship! I would like to enter for the: Great Britain: 2023 silver 2-pounds of Charles III, Britannia bullion coin (1 ounce, .999 fine) My reason is because I have no British .999 silver, and I like the design.
Greece (Phrygia, Apamaiea): ca. 88-40 BC bronze Æ17, turreted head of Tyche Cuz I want an ancient Greek coin
I'm in on this one for a "hattrick". This time if I win, someone will be getting a nice present this holiday season! For this one, I would graciously enjoy receiving the two 1808 East India Co. Coins, thank you very much! Thanks again for contributing!
Submitting another entry for the Roman bracelet from Time Machine, and hoping the random number generator favors me this time. I like collecting antiquities and a bracelet is currently something I'm lacking when it comes to my collection.
ENTRY POST I'll remain consistent with the dual honker silver Morgan & Peace $'s. These would allow me to give one to each of my grandsons. Thank you for your generosity, Rob.
Entry post. I want to start branching out into ancients. Accordingly, I'm torn between the Blaundian Herakles and the Lucilla and Commodus denarii. All great looking coins... Thanks for running these contests, LordM! Your generosity really knows no bounds!
I am having difficulty choosing. I like the gold 1/10 fanam because I like extremes of size and it would beat my current smallest by quite a bit. I like the steel cent because it's a bit different and I've had my eye on it for a while. I also like the 1841 braided hair cent. A nice honest coin, a bit of wear but no other issues. Do I have to narrow it down any further?
I'm in for the war nickel, I just gotta bring that prize back to Omaha. Thank You @lordmarcovan for the contest.
I would once again pick the widow's mite. Would be fun having something from Bible times! Thanks for the contest!
