    I would also like to get peoples opinion on this coin. I am certainly not looking to sell it (if you pay attention, you'll understand why). I'm just looking for opinions.

    I would say the coin has MS details but has been damaged.

    That's what I was thinking, but when you want a specific type of coin, of that age, you take what you can get.

    No argument on that. I once purchased a 1769 4 reales that was damaged. But there are only like 4 known to exist. So yeah, I know what you mean ;)
