Northeast OK, just west of Tornado alley. Humid the problem there is air flow. Some of my retirement will go to a self-contained tree house, and other areas under ground, just for utilitarian purposes.
I'm with those for the cardboard tight fit, then few layers more on top. Stack each of the drawers on top of each other. I'd say, visit a grocery or dry good store and pick up some cardboard boxes, then start your measuring and cutting, putting as much cardboard on to reach the edge of the drawer.. If you want, put a piece of felt or other thick cloth under the cardboard and on top of the coins, then start destroying boxes.
Pickin'..... I would never claim to know whats in a mans heart at retirement, but I just gotta ask..... Why Oklahoma?? I grew up there and man I couldn't wait till I got old enough to leave. I been begging my daughter for thirty years to move away from there but she won't do it. I sure do hope you enjoy it though.
Well, I live in Canada now, but can't wait to go back and visit friends in Okla, where we hunt and fish. My moniker on some other sites is "okiecoiner", so I understand why he wants to go back. To each his own, but I DO like the weather up here instead of Checotah.
I have family there. I have visited quite a few times and fell in love with the Grand Lake/ Lake of the Cherokees. I am tired of the hustle of a big city. Hate traffic. I have always wanted to "get off the grid" as much as possible. There are many opportunities to do that. The town is a high-income area. Finding a job that compensates me well won't be a problem. And I am not far from a big city. I could keep going....
