Many of his coin depict the Virgin Maria and Baby Jesus, since when he was born a plague struck Italy, his Mother prayed for the Virgin to save the Family from the Plague.

Here's a Potosi 8 reales dated 16ZIII for 1623. Apparently a numeral 3 die punch wasn't available. The third I in the date is extremely weak, with just a faint trace of the base, due to a dip in the flan.

The lions an castles are transposed on both sides.
