Hello all and as always, wishing you all a safe and healthy holiday season upcoming. You know, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah etc. It's Monday and a new thread here called "Massive Morgan Dollar Monday!". Won't you post your Morgan Dollars please? Unfortunately, I have just a couple in my collection. Here is what I could find.... Morgan dollar - Wikipedia PA Coinage Press also.
I stumbled into that YouTube video of the minting process a few weeks ago. Not sure if someone posted it or I found it myself. It was interesting. I'll look and find one from my collection I really like and post. PCGS MS65PL.
Also, I'm gonna hurt myself patting myself on the back for finding this one in the raw for about 50 bucks. PCGS 1886 MS67 Vam 1-C 3 +2 Hot 50 Clash.
Nice collection Inspector43! Did you leave a page off? Looks you had a full set going up to 1903, with just 1894 and 1893S missing. (can't blame you for that). Your 1897O is really a nice find.
Once upon a time I had a pretty neat 18 piece type set of each mint and each decade. All that remains is my 1904-O PCGS-64. Not a particularly rare coin or grade but it is still the final year New Orleans issued Morgan dollars so it is very dear to me. James
All are very nice. Ours are in our vault and not available for this post, but yours have great eye appeal and a joy to view. Thanks for sharing.
@Barney McRae - are you talking about an old black and white video showing Morgans being minted? I have been looking everywhere for that; have only seen it used as background of other new videos. If possible, can you post a link please?
