Nope, it’s a nickel book but they did misprint it. The amount is correct. I didn’t think about it when I posted, just went by what the book said, thanks for the correction.
And I guess that RARE MINT, erm, PRESS ERROR makes the album itself worth $$$. At least, according to YouTube. I've seen plenty of Whitman folders that were pre-printed with a 1965-D slot, but that's a new one on me!
The war nickels are all 35% silver 56% copper and 9% manganese. The weight remained at 5g as all nickels from all series are 5g. The new composite alloy caused some problems with the planchets, cracking etc.
