Jefferson 1954 S over D

    I have several of the 1954 S over D and the 1955 D over S. I am posting two of them here to generate some discussion. Could they be? All feedback important.

    To me, it looks like a small die crack or chip started in the letter "S" and then expanded.

    The 1954-S/D is a dramatic overdate, you will know when you have one. Kinda like, if you have to ask, the answer will always be NO.

    Christ, when you get older, your mind just wanders. I had been looking at a variety on the quarters.
