Picked this up today. 1798 large cent, Sheldon 170 (so I've been told), Style 2 hair Excuse the "dust". Be assured I dusted it properly before sealing it in its airtite capsule.

"New" copper? It's 227 years old, fer cryin' out loud! I like it. Love those Draped Bust Liberties, regardless of denomination. This one seems to have decent surfaces, without much porosity or corrosion, which is a good thing, of course.
