French token 1575 identification help needed

    A detecting friend found this coin/token yesterday but is struggling to identify it. Dated 1575, it looks similar to a Douzain of Henri 3rd but the reverse is totally wrong. He has seen some tokens which also look similar but not with the figure shown on the reverse. Grateful for any help to identify it. Thanks. token obv.jpg token rev.jpg

    I tried Numista but couldn't find one with the same reverse figure.

    I believe you have Feu#1754 Listed in Jetons et Mereaux by F.Feuardent (1904).The catalog can be found free on the Internet Archive to view.It is not illustrated but the description and legends match up.The catalog is in French.I hope this helps.
