Finished. I had a partial set as a kid and I sold it it in my teens so I started a new set as an adult in this Intercept album.

If the dates were easy I’d get higher grade ones. Cracked out a MS one to use as a grading example and the semi keys and keys are crack outs. The 13-S type 2 is F details. Still ran me $300. Many were less than a $1. Main goal was just to have clear readable dates and that was accomplished. Started in 2009. Back burner for a lot of years adding here and there. Finally just wanted to complete it. They are pressed all the way down in and then I only move the top slider so it doesn’t rub. Labels are in 2x2 flips. The album goes in a nice cover.

I have a MS66 38 D/S in my US type and a 66 13 type one in that too but they’re not part of this set. I probably won’t pursue anymore anamolies to this set unless I get really bored with collecting other things in my old age. Would like to have a 3-legged and 18/7 but don’t feel like they have to be part of the date set. The Jeffersons at the end are MS 38 P,D, and S just to show the change over that year.

Good for you, congrats. I don't see the '37-D Three-Legged?

I'm still on a holy quest for a '13-S type 2. Have a some acid etched nickels which purport to be them as well as a 17/18 but..............not taking them seriously. Once I pry my wifey's hands from the checkbook, the crusade will resume.

Very nice. There's a lot of meat on those bones. I put together a set mostly from circulation and much later another set from stock but both had a great deal of wear especially on the key dates which were mostly AG or Fair. These are underrated in low grade because so many are unreadable but nice looking buffs like yours are really tough to assemble.

I did have a really nice VF '13-D type II in that first set but it looked out of place to me.
