Looks like a very useful guide as long as your able to input the information correctly which means having some knowledge on grading, minor things like corner bumps can affect the over all grade but am going to use this tool on a couple of my notes and see how close it gets to the actual grade.
Just added another feature: "image upload" (upload a single JPG of banknote) and AI will analyze image and assign it a grade. Its quick and easy. Give it a try... Thank you Jersey and mpcUSA for your comments!
So this is saying my $2 confederate note is an EF note @ 44.98. Anyone more experienced in this than myself care to chime in to the accuracy? I'm absolutely terrible at paper money!
I suppose the confederate notes would be an exception for the AI portion at least. They're like toilet paper with ink on it lol
To many unknowns on that one to be anywhere near close would assign that note no more then F-35 on its best day.
Just added some new bells and whistles: 1. Fancy Serial Analyzer 2. Values for select U.S. large/small-size banknotes 3. Updated the auto Banknote grading tool (better than before but far from perfect I know)
And the results are in, after using the the currency grading tool I came up with this analysis at least with this note, I had to fudge the numbers a bit to get where PCGS graded it at but what ever I did I could not get the PPQ designation in 58 and I had to put in folding in to get that which there are none, with out the fold shot of to a 67PPQ which this note is not but it has great eye appeal and thats why I bought it
Its definitely a work in progress, I am no coder so this was done with AI assisted coding. But I have a buddy who is a real coder and I need to get his expertise to improve further. Thank you! (Cited from: https://www.cointalk.com/threads/grading-calculator-online.419112/)
