Thanks. Hadn’t even looked closely. Told the owner immediately that if it’s not graded, it’s probably counterfeit. That’s why I posted it first on here.

It may be me looking (glancing) at Morgans in flips inside a plastic album page but many of them may have a polished appearance.
I also agree with others that the Trade Dollar is likely a fake.
Just my opinion that nobody asked for. YM/OMV.

    Happy Collecting.

Trade dollar looks fake to me. Look at the details on Liberty's head and hair. dentils are weak to non existent in a number of areas on both sides. Has an overall granular look to it. I believe it's cast.

Just getting them out of the flips. Haven’t found any that were polished, yet
    Stay tuned

I wouldn’t stop there . . . The mint mark on the 32-D quarter is chased. It’s too big, and the surrounding depression in the field is a dead giveaway.

Variety Slabbing Service. I believe a member of ours, Messy Desk owns it.

A lot of them look like that though, so probably needs an expert in-hand. Look at the PCGS gallery for low grade examples, like this one.

Acknowledged. I see a few that look that way. I’m not sure why a genuine die would have a raised mound where the mint mark gets stamped, but that does appear to be the case.

For 1932-D and S quarters, more than one dealer has told me "if it looks bad, it's probably good, and if it looks good, it's probably bad."

Yes I agree, the Trade dollar looks fake and that quarter may have a glued on MM but that's okay cause Heavy has tons of other coins that are definitely legit!

Well, I would never want to cheat anyone, but it seems like you should get a little bit better deal since you're having to do all the work? But, I also understand they are giving you first chance. And, is that dealer wholesale or retail? Don't answer that, I'm just ”musing”. Hope you have a blast!
