Nice surfaces on the obverse with a strong portrait, I like it!

I agree, that is a nice portrait of Nerva.
Don't see many Nerva sestertii in the forum.

Very nice!! I long for a Nerva sest. That nose deserves to be full size.

    Here's my dupondius (RIC 99):

I have a few coins of Nerva, but only one sestertius.
    Witness the nose....a true patrician.

    Wonderful OP portrait!!

    Terrific posts everyone!!

It seems I have been grabbing more of Nerva than I realized and now have a couple of denarii and several bronzes....

Here's three examples: nerva denarius, rome mint, Fortuna reverse.JPG

A very distinctive portrait of his. Nerva sestertii are a bit tough to get in good shape

An early purchase of mine (in the 80') :

Nerva, Dupondius minted in Rome, 97 AD
IMP NERVA CAES AVG P M TRP COS III PP, radiate head of Nerva right
LIBERTAS PUBLICA, Liberty standing left, SC in field
    13,87 gr

    A denarius I don't have anymore :

IMP NERVA CAES AVG P M TRP COS III PP, Laureate head of Nerva right
AEQVITAS AVGVST, Equitas standing left, holding cornucopia and scales
    3.69 gr
    Ref : Cohen #6, RCV #3019v.

And two antoniniani from the Divi series, with altar and eagle :

Nerva, Antoninianus Rome mint AD 250/251
    DIVO NERVAE Radiate head right
    CONSECRATIO Large altar
    4.25 gr
    Ref : RIC IV # 84b, Cohen # 153, RCV # 9469
    in qblay's catalog : NE01/P260

Nerva, Antoninianus Rome mint AD 250/251
DIVO NERVE (sic !) Radiate head right
    CONSECRATIO Eagle facing

    Ref : RIC IV # 83b, Cohen # 152, RCV # 9467
    in qblay's catalog : NE06/A052

As a side note, a few years back, I came across an altar example from the same obverse die than my eagle's, but was outbid. It would've been nice to display the pair from the same obverse die and two different reverses

I have a twin of your Nerva Dupondius, Cucumbor (in the same color even). When I started to collect roman coins I restricted myself to middle bronzes for the rarer Emperors (I should have stayed with that...), so I have some extras now (but my girlfriend could not convince me to sell them yet :p).
