It amazes me that for all the trouble of running this through the system and authenticating they wouldn't just grade it. I'm surprised Genuine is an option. Wonder how much money was saved on no grading.
as it was #47 in who know how large a batch I think we can guess it was a "bulk" submission with anything below a certain grade say XF just gets a "genuine" grade. Personally I couldn't see my self doing that kind of submission even if i ran my own store but then I'm a cheap sob to begin with lol
The greasy tone accumulation along the reverse device edges makes the coin look bogus. Virtually no ticks or marks in the reverse fields, just smooth as can be. With or without the nod from NGC, I'd be skeptical.
I was going to guess but maybe tomorrow. I'm a couple of cocktails in. It's a tough date, and if you like it that's all that matters. You can always upgrade when the time is right. I have a few "maidens in waiting" that will be kicked to the curb when I upgrade. Morgan dollars in certain dates and mints do not grow on trees and it's not getting any cheaper or easier to check all the boxes.
Mapquest? Did your car come with a Netscape browser too? I've got a Garmin plug in, it's earned it's money.
