Says he has 86 silver dollars. I’m figuring a couple hours, worn and bent. Just a quick count. Maybe not
that 1900 o/cc is a sweet piece as well as the trade dollar and the 32d quarter.. probably 1k value in those 3 alone
The man doesn’t need to sell. That makes it easy. Other than the Morgan and early Indians I own most of them, many in even higher grades. The Onondaga County Numismatic Association has a coin show with 15-20 dealers on third Sunday of the month. I’ll go with him as I know several of the dealers. Some may never get to the bourse I’m gonna need VAM help but it’s easy to sell into a silver worldwide shortage. And the Silver dollars could wait till October Or I could send/deliver some to a VAM expert. Now where do I find one of them?
Looks like days, if not a few weeks of nothing but fun. Enjoy yourself and may he have a great time as well!
That's a pile of silver. Heck, that's a pile of everything. I was suspicious of the trade dollar, and that made me dubious about whatever came next -- but no, this looks like a regular old accumulation. Still not sure about the trade dollar, though. It looks to me like the devices are fading into the fields in a couple of places on the obverse, and I don't like the look of the dentils on the reverse. But recent feedback tells me that I've gotten overly skeptical judging photos. Sure is a good time for him to be selling silver!
Nice display of Americana coinage. Hmm. What was this friend's number again? I must have misplace it. Just kidding. Nice coins!
