Looks more like an unfortunate meeting with a lawn mower blade.

 

Hard to tell from the photo - not sure what is going on in the upper-right area.

Post mint damage.
Not a mint error of any kind unfortunately.

 

It’s a fine but it didn’t come from the mint like that. Definitely damaged after it left the mint.

 

It might have been caused by the machine itself. I did a coin dump a while back and it spit out a quarter which it had mangled. It was also pretty hot to the touch.

 

I would just put it back for someone else to find.
