2025 Nickel question

    I'm in the die gouge camp. It wasn't deep enough to impact Monticello, which appear to be struck normally. Something to look for, if I ever get any 2025 coins...

    Looks to me to be minted by a die that had some minor damage. The metal was forced into the space and appears raised on the coin. Nice find!

    Thanks everyone for the feedback, die gouge was also in the realm of possibility of what I was thinking but it's hard to keep all the error and varieties in the old noggin lol.
