Notice that the name "Atropatene" evolved to the modern "Azerbaidjan". In the 3rd c. BC it was already neighboring Armenia.

I have a handful that are unique, so I guess they would all tie. But I collect Late-LRBCs, so it kind of just comes with it. I was actually logging on to start writing something up on this one: an unlisted Johannes AE type (as far as I can tell, please let me know if anyone is aware of another Ex). It's a variant of RIC-X: 2133 or 2137 for Valentinian III. Interestingly enough, I also discovered another unlisted version of the type/s for Theodosius II a while back. It's a much needed anchor to try & make some sense of the timeline for Valentinian III's AE (Johannes had a pretty short reign).
It's not the clearest legend or nicest coin in the world, but for the era, it's pretty good. IMG_20250823_143056497_HDR~2.jpg IMG_20250823_143107217~2.jpg

Hey John, you need to talk to the moderators, or whoever is in charge of this website, because they only have a "like" button and I need one that says "I absolutely love it", or something to that effect! Thanks for posting several pictures of it. It kinda looked like your yard needs mowing? Just joking, lol. That's for making me drool! I'm so glad you were able to find it. Kenneth

A much water as there is across Canada and they charge you for water? OK, that's a joke. Hope you continue to be blessed. And buy a bunch of coins!

Ok, I didn't "like" that, even though that would normally just mean that I'd read your post. But, that kind of water bill, I just couldn't like. Guess that makes my $30-40 something seem trivial? Mine is for one month, but still....
