I'm a fresh newbie to coin collecting/trading and I'm not sure which type of 1972 ike this is. Regardless of what it is, i was wondering if this coin holds any value and the "grade" this coin would be based on what is seen in the photos? Thanks in advance. IMG_2616.JPG IMG_2617.JPG

your coin appears to be Type 3 to me.

However, it is pretty much just an average 1972 circulated Ike dollar and doesn't hold much of a premium.

The ones that garner premium are very pristine and have few, if any marks on the surfaces.

Here is an article on the 3 different types, I hope that it helps.
