Found this in an allegedly OBW roll of 1960 D cents.

Some sellers especially on eBay use the title of Original Bank Rolled coins in their listings.
Many times they are searched with nothing special in them.

It just struck me that it’s either a roll on not and there’s nothing alleged about that. It made me laugh the way I first thought about it. :)

    I saw the photo.
It appeared the date had been struck by something post mint,
and a couple of the digits were scratched, scraped etc.
I don't really think you can find anything in a roll of 1960-D
as the small date rarity is only for the 1960.
There is a small date 1960-D over large date 1960-D which I guess is a keeper, but again the plain 1960 small date is still the preferred variety. The 1960 plain small date over large date is the better (variety?/error?) but not to be found in a roll of 1960-D cents. I wouldn't pay more than face value for any 1960-D cent. Anyone selling 50 pennies with a possible rarity, it would certainly be worth the time to look for the rarity before rolling and selling.
