My first hunt this year, I know it's a late hunt but with my health and new regulations in Kentucky I decided to hunt one of my family reunion place. So far this is what I've found with the bounty hunter 1100.

The best I found was a Skeleton key weeks ago. How does that Bounty Hunter perform. Is it one of their more advanced models?
BTW: I'm still looking for the door that it goes to. LOL.

The bounty hunter 1100 is mid. Still learning. It's a cheap metal detector so I've dug a lot of aluminum.. Good luck finding that door lol

Looks like a treasure chest key to me.

Got the Ole Garrett out to try.
In the past if I find a buried treasure chest
I usually leave it down there
because they are too heavy to pull out of the hole.

I live on an old 1869 mill pond with stone foundations.
Was digging along it where the water wheel was in an area that was sure to have been flooded.
Found this by eye, straight out of the ground, gold??
Got my old metal detector and it doesn't register.
    Pennies dimes ect do.
    There is gold in vermont.
    It is thin, doesn't bend.
Weight 1 gram, almost can see a couple of ridges at 40x. But not sure.
