What are your thoughts on this 1869 IHC?

    It has some environmental damage, but I don't know if it warrants a details grade or not.

    I think it has AU sharpness.

    It'd be AU, better side of details, slight environmental damage. It's a really nice coin. About $350 in XF.

    That is a pretty decent counterfeit, Larry. Much easier to tell this one is a fake compared to the (also fake) 1870 you just posted.

    This 1869 is a better fake than the 1870. The counterfeiter fell down with denticles, which they often do. The fade away at the top of the obverse and lack definition elsewhere.
