    Hi,
Here is my 1944 Lincoln with an odd looking D mint mark. Is this a D over S variety or maybe this is just wear and corrosion? I've posted the obverse, reverse and a close up of the D. Any opinions are most welcome.
    Thanks! 1944 1C - Obverse - D over S maybe.jpg 1944 1C - Reverse - D over S maybe.jpg 1944 - 1C - D over S maybe - Obverse Close.jpg

No. It does not appear to be a D/S. Yes, it is grime or corrosion. My guess on grade is F12.

I'm not seeing anything to indicate a D/S.

Not seeing the signs of a D/S. I’m thinking it most likely could be an RPM.
