Had placed a token 50 bid on this one thinking it might have a chance at regrading "PL"... Well the token bid won again lol
So will be sending both of them to NGC with big hopes of at least one coming back PL

That's a nice one! And it looks like she's giving us the side-eye with that tiny mark on her eye. LOL! And nice little die cracks, too.

Was that 99O Sold by M Barr Coins? I have a couple of ICG MS 63s sold by them. They send lots of coins to ICG that are common dates for grading. Some are very nice and every bit the grade. Most of them are buy it now at $69.

I wonder where they buy all of their coins from? They are a bottomless pit.:D I may have to contact them for my personal wish list. I didn't even think about asking them before. I did send them a snarky message that they need to post the actual coin being sold. They posted a nice one that had a rare VAM, then I noticed it was one that said "25 sold".

Mrweaseluv, you gave me an idea I hadn't thought about before. I contacted them outside eBay about doing business directly. They seem to be a very solid reputable company, enough to cut out the middleman and the 13% vig.

I won an 1652-A France Louis d'Or that way on eBay about 25 years ago. I think I bid $700 thinking there wasn't any way in the world I wouldn't get outbid. And guess what? Sent it to PCGS after I won and it came back AU58. Probably a $1750 coin nowadays. For many years it was the oldest coin in the collection, then I added a few 16th century Tuscan/Florentine pieces that make this coin look downright modern in comparison. Did I pay too much? Yeah, probably $150 more than it was worth at the time, but sure learned a lot about Louis XIV after I got it, --the guy on on the coin.
