    Any engelhard enthusiasts around? Apparently, according to allengelhard.com, this was minted to less than 5,000. Any information on value would be appreciated!

    According to JM Bullion.com its worth $17.24 today.

    You could turn it into an 1882 CC and it'd be worth more.

    About the only thing your silver bar has going for it is the name of the maker. Other than that, it is nothing more than silver bullion. The mintage is irrelevant. It's just plain old silver.

    Wait a year or 5 and it'll be worth more. Shouldn't take too long for the economy to bounce back down.

    Only if the price of silver goes up. It's not nice to mislead people who are trying to learn.

    @Mark Nicoletti I only meant that the premium it carries for 1 oz of silver is too much in my opinion
