It is a place where you can post pictures of the ham and cheese you are having for lunch, make friends with the lady who made your coffee and let everyone know you are on vacation so you house can get robbed by the ex con boyfriend of the lady who made your coffee. Great ideas all!

Thanks @Valentinian! I meant to become a supporter ages ago, I appreciate the nudge.

I am grateful for the friendships I have made on this site, and how everyone readily shares their knowledge. And of course I enjoy seeing everyone's coins! Well worth $29/year.:D

    All,
I pulled the trigger and became a supporter. $29 is not going to break the bank and supports a great website and an excellent group of members.

I was going to become a supporter, but then I saw that awesome cow puzzle...

I just may take the plunge. I find myself coming here quite a bit and, though I'm not a passionate coin collector, I enjoy the discussion (well, most of the discussions, a few sometimes get out of hand  but they are easily ignored).

Edit: wow, that was quick... I earned my green ribbon in about 5 minutes!

I have to be honest: I had no idea what a 'supporter' was until this thread.

I had no idea about being a supporter, either. But as of a minute ago, I'm now a supporter and I consider it money well spent.

Well, I'm still hearing crickets. When I get a PM w/PO Box to send my donation to you'll see a green banner under me also.

In this particular case, it's pretty difficult to pretend that you gave at the office
    (no pay, no banner)

    :bag:

... not that I'm judging (but I personally found it to be an automatic)

Yah, I love this place and somebody out there did a great job of setting it up and is doing a fine job of keeping it runnin' smoothly ...

    cha-ching => $29 (it's a no-brainer)

Hey, maybe they'll have too much spare cash on their hands after this cool thread? (maybe we'll all get hats?)

    ;)

Oh, and I just went and browsed-around on the other sites and "the ancients" are by far CoinTalk's most "supportive" category (I like that about us) ... we're supportive

I became a supporter in 2007. Good lord how time flies.

In my opinion this is now easily the most active and interactive ancient coin forum in english language (or for that matter in any language) that I am aware off.
I can only encourage any who have not done so to support this forum.

Peter T Davis does. Haven't seen him around for quite some time actually. And I have heard his Twitter or the CoinTalk Twitter has been quite as well.

Ummm Eduard, your CoinTalk supporter thingy has expired on ya (time to cough-up another $30 => it ain't a lifetime membership, my cool German coin-friend)

    Cheers brother

I pulled the trigger not long after joining the Ancient form. Considering the help offered here, it's the least I can do.
