Next up is my 1932 1 Sen Mt Fugi coin. Many, many years ago my wife would hold dinners for the International Student Club. A man named Tatsu was kind enough to tell me about coins I had owned for years. James
Life is weird. Tatsu and I hit it off. I explained my dad served in WWII. I gifted him a circa WWII set of American coins. He in return gifted me some Japanese coins. Here is where it gets weird. I have a great many photos my dad took serving during the war. For a long period my dad served in air support for the fight for Okinawa. Tatsu started looking at the pics and then just stared at me for about a full minute. Finally he said, "My dad also served in WWII. He was an advanced spotter for American planes during the fight for Okinawa." James
