Hello all! New to the coin collecting world. Inherited a group of old coins/paper money and it has re-sparked my childhood "passion" of coin collecting...have a son in Boy Scouts and he choose to start a coin collection himself. We were going through a bunch of coins to fill his book and came across this coin. I looked up categories of coin errors and can't quite seem to categorize it....which leads me to think two things...one I'm not good at research haha!, or two...this happened in circulation. Can anyone shed light on this? We would love to hear thoughts. Thank you! We have more questionable coins we may post later....if it's not too annoying.
Thank you. At first I thought it may have been "brockage"...but the line on this coin is straight not curved. Would still love to know what happened to this coin haha. It'll be keep in the odd / curious bag.
