    These are so cool to go through. Here is mine from 1969, I got it from my father many years ago, and he got it from my grandmother. Below it is an article she clipped out of a newspaper on the Standing Liberty Quarter design, and has it as a book marker for those coins in the book.

    These old price guides are fun to look through. I have a small number of very old auction catalogs...some in the late 1800s. If only we could get those coins at those prices.

    I have the 1965 Blue Book and Red Book (my birthyear), and the 1976 Red Book (the year I started collecting).

    Now, see, here's a good counterpoint to the old "boy I wish I'd bought a bunch of coins at those prices".

    The Blue Book gives prices you can expect dealers to pay you for coins.

    So... aren't you glad that you didn't sell a bunch of coins at these prices? Hooray!
