    WOW! That was a heck of a deal!!! I think a silver planchet sells for around $75 and a clad for a good bit also!!!!!

    Hello all....as a newly registered member...but a loooooooooooooooong time lurker...I wanted to take a moment and personally thank Speedy for his kindness and trust in a small transaction that we had.     Thanks for the coin show report. I noticed that there used to be more coin show reports but for some reason that has deminished. Reports like yours will help others want to go to a coin show. Many think it is not for them so they never go but a decent report like yours may help others note they are places to try.
    I'm surprized at one thing. You didn't mention anyone selling jewelry. Never could spell that jewelery thing. The reason I mention that is at many of the coin shows around here there is usually someone selling that for the people that bring a wife that is not interested in coins. Same with knives, currency, coin books and collecting items like albums, plastic rolls, etc.

    There were some cheap rings and such....knives were there alot---in fact, there were 2 kinfe dealers also set up at the show.
