When I was younger I got a lot of my coins from them. That was before the internet was up and going and all the coin web sites, so a long time ago. Now the only time I get coins from them is like the offer posted here. On some of those offers with the "Coins On Approval" you have to pay the postage to return the coins you do not want and on some you don't. I wrote them to ask them about that and got a very long reply to what I thought was a simple question. Anyway sometimes you have to pay the postage and sometimes you don't. But their prices on non-special offers are way too high.

I used to get stamps on approval from them.
That was about 60-65 years ago.
Fortunately I've moved often enough since then that I don't think they know where I am anymore.

25 years ago I bought a Mercury dime and a Walker half for $4.95. Junk coins, but when silver was high, I sold the half and kept the Merc. I was unaware of the coins on approval, but since I paid by check and this was before the popularity of the internet, I could have kept the coins and they could never have collected. I sent them back and canceled the subscription.
As I mentioned in a previous post, I bought the 6 pres dollars for face, and I am happy with them. This time, the ad DID NOT MENTION the coins on approval, but they signed me up again, I returned them and canceled.
If they were to sell coins at fair market price I would be interested. But all of their coins are at least double what I can buy them for elsewhere.

I don't know Paul, I'm kinda with Dave on that one, they walk the walk when they talk the talk on their grades and conditions, even with the higher prices.

I get these all the time. Whenever I get FV or pay just a bit more than FV, it's a good deal.
Sure, you get signed up for the on-approval service, but just put a huge "CANCEL CANCEL CANCEL" on the return order and you're all set.

Problem is, you can't do it too much with the same address, because the offer is meant for new customers only.
Luckily for me, I have a different address every year so I do it a couple times a year with my name, a couple times with roommate's name, and it's all good.

I live between I.C.Coin and Littleton and have dealt with both; they will work with you to satisfy. Just like everything, read the fine print.

From ICC coin, I ordered a semi rare Laos banknote. It arrived with a large tear in it, effectively rendering it worthless. I got a replacement for free, which also had a tear in it. Oh well...

Littleton's coins on the second hand market like the 'Bay are often very reasonably priced. If condition is accurately stated, then that seems to be a good place to get what you ordered.
