GTG 1896o and bonus 97o

    No luck this week with any of the big boys I was after, but got both of these dirt cheap so I'm happy. (and yeah the 97 is obv-cleaned, but the slot was empty and the price cheap enough to accept a hole filler at least for now :D) The 96 o was the real score :D

    What was the grade on the 1896O? It's a very nice specimen for that date/mint. It's a tough date in that condition. I don't have one that nice yet. I'll guess 58

    I can see the wear on the 96 but not the 97. Too bad about the scratches. James
