    This lion recently captured at 2017 NYINC. One of the earliest struck bronzes of the Republic!

    Roman Republic, c. 275-270 BC. Mint in Southern Italy. AE Double Litra. 11.14 grams. Crawford 16/1a. Ex Vecchi 3 (1996), Lot 1.
