Some verdigris and nicks and bumps here and there but for around $20 I though she still looked pretty good. Also thinking by date position and some other clues in Grellman's book this might be a N-37. Thoughts?
Great condition for $20…PCGS Photograde shows it to be XF45 (ballpark) which calculates from Numismedia/FMV to be approx. $147.00. (halfway between XF40 and AU50). Mighty fine acquisition…congrats!…Spark
I have a complete set, if all of mine looked like yours I'd consider myself rich, nice coin, you are very fortunate to have it. Thanks for sharing that beauty.
Thanks for all the nice comments! After further review I think its a N-40. Missed the repunching under the 1.
Not really seeing any verdigris (which is good). Appears to have a misaligned die strike from 9 o'clock to 12 on the obverse. Coin appears slightly "oily" but that could be the photo. In F-12 it is close to a $50 coin, I think this is a win.
