I found this and wanted to share. Has anyone ever seen this type of crack on the wing like this one? I know the reverse has very deteriorated letters due die deterioration. Is this a rare location for a crack? IMG_0318.jpeg IMG_0316.jpeg IMG_0317.jpeg

Looks more like a strike through. Due cracks are raised and the area in question is recessed.

Hmm. Not sure that you can see that from a picture. I think it could be either depending on the posters answer about the "mysterious line". So? Is it raised or recessed, that is the question.

IMG_0321.jpeg IMG_0320.jpeg IMG_0319.jpeg It is indeed raised, I can see it clearly from a different angle. Here are more pictures. The area below the crack on the edge of the wing shows slight impairment going further down.

Interesting. Looking at the whole-coin pic, it took me a moment to spot it.

If that area is raised then it could ok d be damaged. Another coin could have struck that area. I looked again and it looks different than being raised. A die crack will have the entire area raised. A strike through will have nothing raised and be smooth on the edges. Damage will be low in the cent and raised on the edges.
