    Welcome @coch. Your coin reminds me of a Roman Republic with Victory on the obverse, but I will have to look for the actual coin information.

    On second thought, the "corn row" hair style reminds me of later Roman empresses, such as Julia Domna

    Bing, I think the "corn rows" are just flan adjustment marks. To me it looks like a Roman provincial coin, male/emperor obverse.

    @coch, what is the size and weight? Also, the tiles upon which the coin is photographed look like the background of some other recent "what is this" posts but at the time of my typing this, you have only one CoinTalk post. Did you have another user name recently?
