The same seller has an absolutely hilarious listing
how to make you cat litter smell better[IMG]</IMG>
    150145821823[IMG]

The advice is to "add backing [sic] soda".
If you buy the advice for $0.01 he will give you "free positive feedback".

This seems like an underhanded way of generating unwarranted positive feedback.

Solictiting feedback should even get ebay's attention.

I saw it happen years ago and the guy scammed people out of THOUSANDS in a short period of time.

What's the best link to get rhrough on this to ebay?

I sent the following to eBay customer service:

"This listing is offering to provide positive feedback to anyone who buys a non-item (advice for $0.01). This is clearly an abuse of the feedback system. Feedback should be generated only by legitimate sales. This appears to be a scam designed to permit members to artifically inflate their feedback scores. "

    I think I'm gonna hurl!

    This is beyond sad.

'Rare Genuine Error 3-Legged Buffalo Nickel with key date

    With Key Date 1936"

    Final bid is $303.80.

I emailed the seller to let him know that this was a bogus coin. Think I'll get a response now that it's sold for over $300?

Scuse me while I go sniff some rancid cat litter and heave my guts out.

More money in ebay's pocket! HOORAY!

    It's really hard to find.
    1. From Help, choose "Contact Us"
    2. Choose "Feedback" as the topic
    3. Step 1: select "Feedback concerns:
    4. Step 2: select "The problem you're having with feedback isn't listed."
    5. Here's where it get's tricky............select "Email us" at the bottom of the page.
    6. Fill out the resulting form. You need the item number which you can get from my posting above.

The first time around, they succeeded in shaking me between steps 5 and 6, but I went back and tried it again.

Even funnier, he lists this coin as silver. "Material: Silver". Did he ever wonder why they called it a "Nickel".

    Good catch!
I was so busy looking at the coin that I missed that one!

To me it looks like the leg was scratched off with a key or something. Where it should be is a lot rougher than the rest of the fields. Like the old saying goes....a fool and his money....
