A superb start for my 2017 coins year: THRACIAN KINGDOM. Lysimachus (305-281 BC). AV stater. Aenus, ca. 283-250 BC. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, wearing horn of Ammon / BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΛYΣIMAXOY, Athena seated left, resting arm on shield and holding Nike; caduceus in inner left field and monogram to outer right.
What a wonderful coin! And the image is super. I feel like I can reach out and touch it. Congratulations.
Wow, Ivan => the background is even more cool than TIF's (AJ's) ... well, it's certainly a contender anyway (great effort) Oh, and the cool gold coin is a definite winna-winna!! (congrats)
Lysimachus, eh? ... again, that's an absolutely gorgeous OP-coin Ummm, am I allowed to post my humble AE Lysimachos example? => I hope so, because here it comes ... Thrace Lysimachos 323-281 BC Athena & Lion Leaping

Thank you All for your congrats! In fact I am confused by myself with this coin. It have fantastic condition, but my other real EF AV staters together with this one looks like poor and wiped away. So, now I discover a "problem" I need to sell this one, or to sell all others, they can not be together.... really...
